Apply Now for a summer or January study abroad program Longer Summer School Programs GlobaLinks Learning Abroad also offers longer summer school options for students interested in taking a full course load similar to that of a traditional semester. Both of these options come to you from locations which run on a quarter system as opposed to the semester system. The quarter system available at both locations is complementary to many North American students. Program dates are usually very early May - very late August. For more information on these programs, please email studyabroad@globalinksabroad.org. Extend Your Semester Abroad with a Summer or January Study Abroad Program Most of our short courses can be added on to a semester abroad experience. If you are thinking about a semester or year abroad at a university in Australia, New Zealand or Fiji, be sure to check the start and end dates of both programs to make sure they do not overlap.
