Featured Scholarships For All GlobaLinks Learning Abroad Students  The Foundation for Global Scholars is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located in Denver, Colorado whose mission is to create global citizens and leaders by assisting students in achieving their personal and professional goals of obtaining cultural and academic experiences abroad. The Foundation will support this mission by awarding scholarships to help enable students to obtain an international experience. Students who are from underrepresented populations in international education are a priority.

 Diversity Abroad will offer eight $1,000 scholarships each summer. Scholarships are only available for students studying or interning abroad on credit-bearing programs offered by a Diversity Abroad member organization. Economically disadvantaged students, African-American, Asian-American, Hispanic/Latino and Native-American students are strongly encouraged to apply. As a member of Diversity Abroad, GlobaLinks Learning Abroad students are eligible to apply. www.diversityabroad.com/scholarships. Diversity Network, in partnership with STA Travel, offers summer travel scholarships for students from their member institutions (GlobaLinks Learning Abroad). For many students, access to financial aid for the summer term is limited. For eighteen deserving students, the $750 Diversity Network Summer Scholarships will help offset the cost of travel to their host country. Students must meet grant criteria and participate on a credit bearing summer research, study, internships or service-learning/volunteer abroad program. The award for each scholarship is $1,000. The Go Overseas scholarship is open to current students who will be enrolled in a study abroad program during the coming academic year. Gilman International Scholarship Program offers awards for undergraduate study abroad students attending summer abroad programs. This scholarship provides awards for U.S. undergraduate students who are receiving Federal Pell Grant funding at a two-year or four-year college or university to participate in study abroad programs worldwide. The Gilman Scholarship Program is open to U.S. citizen undergraduate students who are planning to study abroad. The program aims to diversify the kinds of students who study abroad and the countries and regions where they go by supporting undergraduates who might otherwise not participate due to financial constraints. Program-Specific Scholarships for GlobaLinks Learning Abroad Students Bond University and Murdoch University each offer scholarships to participants of one or more of their sponsored January or summer study abroad programs. We hope you will consider these universities and their programs as potential choices for your overseas program as they strongly support study abroad students and welcome you to join them on their campus: Students will be required to fill out a full scholarship application for all GlobaLinks Learning Abroad specific scholarships by the required deadline to be eligible for consideration of an award. An application will be made available to all eligible participants upon acceptance to the January and summer program. All awards are determined by a specific scholarship committee, and all decisions are final.
