GlobaLinks Learning Abroad accepts both hard copy and online applictions. In either case, your application will require:
- Personal statement
- Signature form (included in hard copy application)
- Faculty reference form
- Official transcript(s)
- Passport sized photos
- $30 USD application fee (non-refundable)
You can send in all application items together or piece-by-piece and let us take care of organizing it for you. Once your application is complete, you should hear back about acceptance within 2-3 weeks. As long as you meet the minimum requirements set forth by the university and have a complete and satisfactory application, GlobaLinks Learning Abroad can accept you on behalf of the university. If your application does not meet the requirements, there may be some additional information that will be required. Acceptance into a GlobaLinks Learning Abroad program is not guaranteed.

EXPLANATIONS OF REQUIRED APPLICATION MATERIALS
Complete the online application form - if you do not yet have a MyLearn account, you will need to create one first. The application will ask you to select your first and second choice of the university you would like to attend. Your program choice can be changed in the initial stages of the process without additional application fees or penalties. Hard copy applications are available upon request, however online applications are encouraged to expedite the application process. Click here to download a hard copy of the application.
MANDATORY WEB ACCESSIBLE EMAIL ADDRESS:
Most communication regarding your program will take place through your MyLearn account and your email address. You must have an email account which you can access throughout the process of your application, enrollment, and participation in the program.
Order one official transcript from your home university showing at least 25-32 credits of completed academic work. This transcript can be included with your application to GlobaLinks Learning Abroad or your university can mail it directly to our office. If you are a transfer student and have only just completed your first semester at your home university, please send a copy of your previous university or college results. Transcripts must be official.
Give the Faculty Reference Form to a faculty member who has taught you in a university/college setting. Once completed, they can return it to you in a sealed envelope or mail/fax it directly to our office. An online form is also available through your MyLearn account if you would rather email your faculty reference a link to complete the form electronically.
Obtain 2” x 2” photographs (of your head and shoulders). ONLY color photos are accepted. Four photos are required for programs in Australia and Fiji; six photos are required for programs in New Zealand. These are for identification purposes on several forms and must be sent with your application. Please write your name on the back of each photo. You will need an additional two photos for your passport if you do not already have one.
Write a check for $30 USD payable to GlobaLinks Learning Abroad. Canadian students should obtain a USD bank draft. This fee can be paid online by credit card if you use the online application. The application fee is non-refundable.
