| To apply to the AustraLearn Semester and Year Abroad Program, you must have completed at least the equivalent of one year of full-time study at the university/college level. There is also a GPA requirement set by each university, which can be found on each university profile page. Students with a lower GPA than the requirement may be considered on a case by case basis. Please contact our office for more information. If you are currently a freshman in college/university, you can still apply to study abroad at some specific universities. You must have at least one semester of results on a university or college transcript and be at least 18 years old. If you are interested in studying abroad as a freshman please contact us. If you have one semester or less of university credit you may still be eligible for the AustraLearn Custom Date Internship program or the AustraLearn Professsional Development for No Credit program.
