| One of the many benefits of studying abroad with GlobaLinks Learning Abroad is our Bridging Cultures Program in Cairns, Australia. This 5-day experiential learning opportunity is included in your program fee. We will introduce you to your host country through a series of sessions, excursions, and community involvement opportunities. During your orientation, you'll address important issues including health and safety while abroad, cultural adjustment to life in your host country, and what you can expect from professors at your institution. By the end of the program, activities like opening a bank account, calling home, and traveling around will be a breeze! Remember, you are no longer a tourist; you live there now! Session Topics: -
Australian Culture – How is Australia different from North America? -
Health and Safety Abroad – Gain specific information related to Australian laws and infrastructure. -
Australian Education System – Gain insight on the expectations of Australian professors and institutions. -
