| Location: Any City in Australia or New Zealand With its unique wildlife, Australia and New Zealand are interesting destinations for pre-veterinary and zoology students, and GlobaLinks Learning Abroad offers a wide range of placements in these areas. Placements can be in a variety of settings such as zoos, wildlife sanctuaries, veterinary clinics, veterinary hospitals, and working with veterinary consultants. Students can gain experience in the following areas: animal recordkeeping, animal cleaning and feeding, animal research, zoo ground maintenance, maintaining live food colonies, routine animal check ups, observing animal surgeries, and veterinary clinic management. However, if none of those placements fit what you are looking for, just let us know and we will find one that does. During the application, you will write a cover letter that includes your goals and interests for your internship. Your Internship Coordinator will then work with you to match up your learning goals and interests with the best available internship placement. *All internships are unpaid
