| Location: Any City in Australia or New Zealand The rich diversity of the flora and fauna, topography, and ecosystems in Australia and New Zealand make both of these countries fascinating destinations for science related internships. Science and environmental internships are available in several locations in both Australia and New Zealand. These placements give students the opportunity to work with leading researchers and scientists in a wide array of topics. Past interns found themselves doing research in the areas of zoology, marine biology and ecology, environmental economics, conservation, genetics, medicine, natural resource management, and agricultural management. Placements can be found with government agencies, parks and recreation areas, non-profit organizations, research centers, and private companies. However, if none of those placements fit what you are looking for, just let us know and we will find one that does. During the application, you will write a cover letter that includes your goals and interests for your internship.
