Scholarships There are a number of opportunities for scholarships to help you finance your international internship. In addition to your university's study abroad office and various websites that offer scholarships, AustraLearn has also partnered up with two additional organizations to provide you with scholarship options. The Foundation for Asia Pacific Education AustraLearn internship students are encouraged to apply to scholarships from various organizations for financial support for their overseas program. The Foundation for Asia Pacific Education is a 501C(3) non-profit organization which provides scholarships for students studying abroad in the Asia Pacific region of the world, including Australia and New Zealand. In each academic year, the Foundation awards more than $200,000 in scholarships and grants to students pursuing a study abroad program of any type in this region of the world. Diversity Abroad, in cooperation with AustraLearn, will offer twenty, $1,000 scholarships for fall 2008, spring 2009 and summer 2009 study abroad. Six scholarship are available for the fall, six for the spring and eight for the summer. Scholarships are only available for students studying or interning abroad on programs offered by a Diversity Abroad member organization.
