AustraLearn / AsiaLearn / EuroLearn Partner Appreciation Luncheon - NAFSA 2009

Each year, AustraLearn/AsiaLearn/EuroLearn sponsors a Partner Appreciation Luncheon at the annual NAFSA conference. Our world-wide partners from abroad and here in North America are invited to join us for a great mid-week break from the conference activities where we highlight our recent achievements and present our Future International Educator Award to our Alumni of the Year.

This year, our highlights included:

The Australia Project

The Australia Project is an inventive documentary created by two film students, Glenn Bronson and Ryan Walsh  from Central Michigan University. Both Glenn and Ryan took part in a PDAC internship in Sydney, Australia at the Sydney Film School. During their time abroad, they created an impressive 5-episode documentary about their experience.

See the trailor below and get a (free) copy of the complete DVD by sending an email to mgreen@australearn.org

(if you filled out an envelope during the 2009 Luncheon, you do not need to send an additional email request as we will be fulfilling those requests as soon as the DVD is available)

Kimberly Iona spent a semester abroad in New Zealand in February 2008 at the University of Waikato. Studying abroad was Kimberly’s first chance to see the world beyond American borders and defined to her the true meaning of global citizenship.
