Air New Zealand flies from Dunedin to the major cities of Christchurch, Wellington and Auckland, and also connects the last two cities with Queenstown.
Numerous bus/shuttle companies criss cross Otago, driving from Dunedin to Queenstown and/or Wanaka. Several also divert south to Te Anua and Invercargill, and others migrate north to Christchurch or wind through Haast Pass and up the West Coast. Major operators include InterCity, Atomic Shuttles, Wanaka Connexions, Southern Link Shuttles and Catch-A-Bus.
