| Perth has a stellar public transportation system and the free rides in the city center make it Australia’s best. Transperth operates public buses, trains and ferries with free rides in designated areas (always check prices first before assuming a free ride and hopping on). For a fee there are also taxi services and shuttles to and from the airport. Both Qantas and Virgin Blue service flights to and from Perth.
