| DENVER – Globalinks Executive Director, Cynthia Banks, was honored by the Denver Business Journal as one of the city's "Outstanding Women in Business." She was among one of three nominees in the Jean Yancey-Large category.
Cynthia, who started the study abroad program AustraLearn in 1987, has since built upon her expertise and launched two additional successful companies: AsiaLearn and EuroLearn, also specializing in study abroad opportunities for college students. Colleagues in the community remarked that her exceptional communications skills and ambition made Cynthia a great business leader, partner, and friend.
The publication honored Cynthia and other award winners at an Aug. 7 event that drew more than 650 people.
