Adelaide is the capital city of South Australia located between white sandy beaches and the Mount Lofty Ranges. Adelaide has a population of 1.2 million people, which makes it large enough to cater for your needs and interests yet small enough to make moving around the city a simple matter. Adelaide is a popular destination for students because it:
• is one of the most affordable capital cities in Australia; • is a safe city with a friendly and relaxed atmosphere; • is accessible and convenient (facilitated by a good public transport system including free bus transport within the city); • is not crowded; and • has a great climate!
Academic Highlights
In the Faculty of Education, Arts, and Social Sciences, practical experience is integral to many programs, for example: • Journalism students have the opportunity to run a news service at a local radio station; and • Media arts students can complete their own production from concept to completion.
The South Australian School of Art is one of the oldest in the country and offers a full suite of visual art courses including glass forming, ceramics, photography, and jewelry making.
The Division of Business is accredited by the European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS).
The Faculty of Business offers the only Sport and Recreation Management program in South Australia. This program provides students with two field placements that can be undertaken in students’ home countries.
The Faculty of Information Technology, Engineering, and the Environment offers South Australia’s largest environmental management degree incorporating laboratory work, field trips, camps, and industry-based assignments.FactsLocation: Adelaide, South Australia Overseas Students: 3300 Staff: 2200 Total Enrolment: 32390
