AustraLearn Semester and Year Abroad Students

AustraLearn continues to offer the most reasonable and flexible study abroad fees to Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific. To further enhance the affordability of a semester or year abroad program, we encourage you to apply for scholarships through all available scholarship resources.

Each year, our university partners generously offer students like you the opportunity to apply for university specific scholarships. We highly encourage you to consider the following uni's as a potential choice for your overseas program as they strongly support study abroad students like you.

How do I apply for one of these scholarships?

Once you have applied and been accepted to the AustraLearn study abroad program you will be given an application for these scholarships.

 

	Australian National University Student Scholarship The Australian National University supports AustraLearn study abroad students with two awards annually for 1/2 of tuition costs. The approximate value for each award is $4,500 USD.
	AUT University Student Scholarship Located in the heart of Auckland, AUT is a purpose built campus with an extremely accommodating staff and faculty. AUT supports three AustraLearn study abroad students with three $1,000 NZD awards each year.
	Bond University Student Scholarship Bond University supports AustraLearn students with a total of $8,000 USD per year.
	Edith Cowan University Student Scholarship Edith Cowan University supports AustraLearn students with four $500AUD award each year.
	Griffith University Student Scholarship With campuses in both Brisbane and the Gold Coast, Griffith University offers two beautiful locations at which to participate in a semester or year abroad. Griffith provides one full tuition scholarship per semester for a semester/year abroad student from a Canadian university or college. Restrictions apply. Please submit an essay in the "Special Scholarship Essay" section of the scholarship application indicating why you should be the recipient of this award based on the eligibility requirements.
	International College of Management, Sydney Student Scholarship The International College of Management, Sydney offers $5000 per term to be disbursed to AustraLearn students attending a semester abroad in 2010 in the standard study abroad program or the study internship combo program.
	James Cook University Student Scholarship James Cook University supports AustraLearn students with two $500 AUD awards per year.
	La Trobe University Student Scholarship La Trobe University supports AustraLearn students with two $500 AUD award each year.
	Lincoln University Student Scholarship Lincoln University supports one AustraLearn student each semester with a $500 USD scholarship.
	Macquarie University: Gina Rosko Memorial Scholarship Gina Rosko Memorial Scholarship in Cooperation with Macquarie University (July Term Only) (Tuition & housing for one semester, one award per year) Open to students studying at Macquarie University majoring in mass communications, journalism, or advertising with at least a 3.5 GPA. Student must have substantial financial need with documented involvement in their university and community. Please submit an essay in the "Special Scholarship Essay" section of the scholarship application indicating why you should be the recipient of this award based on the eligibility requirements.
	Massey University Student Scholarship Located in New Zealand's North Island, Massey University is ideal for exploring both the country's culture and natural environment. Massey supports AustraLearn students with one $250 NZD each semester.
	Murdoch University Student Scholarship Murdoch University supports AustraLearn study abroad students with two $750 AUD awards each year.
	Queensland University of Technology Student Scholarship Queensland University of Technology supports AustraLearn students with two $1,000 AUD awards each year.
	Swinburne University Student Scholarship Swinburne University of Technology provides two $500 AUD scholarships each year to AustraLearn students.
	University of Canberra Student Scholarship University of Canberra has a number of specialized academic programs and boasts a unique relaxed city lifestyle. University of Canberra offers a $1000 AUD scholarship to EVERY AUSTRALEARN student! Students must apply in order to receive this award through the online application upon acceptance to the program.
	University of Newcastle Student Scholarship University of Newcastle supports one AustraLearn student with one $500AUD award each semester.
	University of Queensland Student Scholarship University of Queensland supports one AustraLearn student with full tuition award each year. To be eligible, a student must participate regularly as a volunteer in his/her community (preferably environmentally related), and must have a 3.2 GPA. Please submit an essay in the "Special Scholarship Essay" section of the scholarship application indicating why you should be the recipient of this award based on the eligibility requirements.
	University of South Australia Student Scholarship University of South Australia provides on $500 AUD award each year to a qualified applicant.
	University of Tasmania Student Scholarship The University of Tasmania provides a $1000 AUD scholarship per year.
	University of Waikato Student Scholarship University of Waikato supports AustraLearn students with two $300NZD award each year.
	Victoria University of Wellington Student Scholarship Victoria University of Wellington contributes scholarships to the value of $3,000 USD per year allocating the awards in two separate scholarships – one for $1500 to be given to a student with high merit and financial need, and $1500 to a student with high merit who will be studying in the sciences areas at the University (recipient must take two science classes while enrolled at VUW). The awards can be given in either term.

There are AustraLearn scholarships available to students as well as scholarships from the Foundation for Asia-Pacific Education.
