| Flexibility is one of the greatest strength of our program here at AustraLearn. We understand that some students are unable to undertake a study abroad program during conventional times, so we offer special programs designed to better integrate with full schedules. With our January and summer study abroad programs, virtually every interested student can find a study program in Australia or New Zealand that suits their academic goals and schedule.
The Schedule 'Down Under' New Zealand and Australia study summer programs are unique because of the different seasons in the Southern Hemisphere. Students who participate in summer study abroad in this region arrive at their destinations right in the middle of the academic year, thus there are no classes available during the North American summer. Because of this, AustraLearn has devised short-term summer study abroad programs to allow students with scheduling difficulties to still take advantage of this unique opportunity. In addition, we have made it possible for students to embark on expeditions of this nature in January, during J-Term or intermission. The benefit is that is summer time in Australia and New Zealand.
Why Do an Australia or New Zealand Summer Program? For one thing, the short courses that are offered in our New Zealand and Australia study summer programs usually cost less than standard courses. Plus, the courses are taught by experts in their fields, giving students a tremendous educational experience. Finally, the short courses that are part of our summer study abroad curriculum allow students to potentially explore a new field for a short time, just to try it out. In some cases, academic credit is also offered as part of the student’s summer study. Australia and New Zealand summer study abroad programs are great opportunities for students.
