The academic year in Australia, New Zealand, and Fiji runs from February to November with Semester 1 running February to June and Semester 2 running July to November. Two universities in Australia, however, offer trimester schedules with terms running from January to April, May to August, and September to December. These are Bond University and International College of Management, Sydney.

Bond University: October 15th for January start, February 15th for May start, and June 15th for September start

International College of Management, Sydney: November 15th for February start, February 15th for May start, and June 15th for September start  

All other Australian Universities and University of the South Pacific, Fiji: November 15th for February start and April 15th for July start

All New Zealand Universities: November 1st for February start and April 15th for July start
