Internship Fee and Academic Credit - $2,195 Mandatory On-Site Housing and Student Support - $2,780 The program costs include delivery of the internship as stated, student supervision, airport reception, ongoing management and student support, housing (rent only) in a homestay or shared apartment, six credits from Chapman University, orientation and briefing sessions, final evaluation statement, cell phone (minutes purchased at an additional cost) and basic pre-trip services provided by AustraLearn. Pre-departure services include assistance with visas, airline tickets, and orientation. These internships are unpaid. Scholarships AustraLearn internship students are encouraged to apply to scholarships from various organizations for financial support for their overseas program. The Foundation for Asia Pacific Education is a 501C(3) non-profit organization which provides scholarships for students studying abroad in the Asia Pacific region of the world, including Australia, New Zealand, and Fiji. In each academic year, the Foundation awards more than $200,000 in scholarships and grants to students pursuing a study abroad program of any type in this region of the world. |
