Note: To encourage student knowledge retention and ensure educational validity, PADI have made mandatory for all students to have and retain their own PADI course manual. As a result students participating in any PADI course worldwide will no longer be able to borrow or rent manuals. To ensure this requirement PADI will be packaging the course manuals within student kits. The PADI listed price for Open Water student kit is around AUD $51.25.
However, students participating in an Open Water course with Deep Sea Divers Den will be able to purchase the student kit for a discounted price of around AUD $20.00
(Students are welcome to provide their own manuals. They must however ensure the following kit items are included: dive table, dive table booklet and certification envelope)
