| The ReefQuest is a budget day vessel. This vessel operates as a transfer boat. ReefQuest takes passenger to the outer Great Barrier Reef for dives. In the afternoon ReefQuest meets up with OceanQuest, the liveaboard dive vessel. Some passengers will transfer onto OceanQuest and others onto ReefQuest for the return journey back to Cairns. ReefQuest caters for certified divers. The ReefQuest Discover Scuba Diving program is your perfect introduction to the reef with pre-dive tuition, close underwater supervision, dive recognition card and certificate included. Certified divers can explore the Great Barrier Reef on spectacular dives in one day.
The dive locations on the outer edge of the Great Barrier Reef (approximately 70 km off shore) offer outstanding underwater visibility, superb coral formations and abundant, colorful marine life including Wally, a friendly 1.5m Maori Wrasse at Norman Reef.
